Lauren and Marcus’s Central Texas wedding at Barr Mansion was a dream to capture as an Austin wedding photographer. The day was laid back, full of laughter, and overflowing with love. From the first moments to the last dance, everything flowed effortlessly, emotions ran deep, and they threw one HECK of a party! I’m still swooning over all the dancing (and yes, there are so many dancing photos because you can’t not capture this kind of joy)!

As an Austin wedding photographer, I love starting the day with all the little details that make each wedding unique. Lauren’s dress was stunning, the florals popped perfectly against Barr Mansion’s historic charm, and every detail—from invitations to rings—was captured beautifully. The morning was full of laughter and excitement, made even more special by the incredible friends and family supporting Lauren and Marcus. And honestly, Marcus has the most infectious smile—it lit up the entire room and set the perfect tone for their Central Texas wedding day!

Instead of a traditional first look, Lauren and Marcus shared a first touch and exchanged private vows before the ceremony. It was such a beautiful, intimate moment, full of raw emotion and anticipation. After the ceremony, we took some time to capture wedding portraits of the newlyweds around the gorgeous grounds of Barr Mansion. The couple was laid back, fun, and up for anything—perfect for creating natural, authentic images that truly capture their personalities.

Then came the party! The reception at Barr Mansion was an absolute blast, filled with laughter, cheers, and nonstop dancing. Capturing the joy, love, and high-energy moments was one of my favorite parts of the day.
